Caroline J. Simon, MD FACS, is a distinguished surgical specialist currently serving as the Director of the Robotic Transplantation and HepatoPancreatoBiliary (HPB) Surgery Program at Houston Methodist since December 2022. With extensive experience in transplantation and HPB surgery, Simon previously held positions as Fellowship Program Director and Transplantation and HPB Surgeon at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center from January 2017 to December 2022, as well as serving as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine during the same timeframe. Additional roles include Associate Program Director and Core Clinical Faculty Member at the National Healthcare Group, Clinical Senior Lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Assistant Lead for Surgery at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Caroline J. Simon's earlier career milestones include serving as Trauma Director and Consultant Surgeon at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and as a Liver Transplantation and HPB Surgical Fellow at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Simon's academic foundation includes an MD from University College Cork and A-Levels from Taylor's College.
