Howard Hillstrom is the Senior Director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Hospital for Special Surgery, a position held since 2005. In addition, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at Biomed Consulting, Inc., a role they began in 2020. Prior to their current roles, Howard was the Director of the Gait Study Center at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine & Temple Foot and Ankle Institute from 1989 to 2005. They earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and they hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University.
