Soki Sakurai is currently a Chief Researcher at Hitachi, having previously held roles as a Senior Researcher and Researcher within the same organization. They served as an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry from 2018 to 2020. Soki completed their education with a degree in Physics from the University of Tokyo, followed by advanced studies in the same field. They are currently pursuing a fellowship at the MIT System Design and Management program.
