William Clopton is currently the SVP of Mortgage Operations at Highlands Residential Mortgage, Ltd., a position they have held since 2016. They have extensive experience in the mortgage industry, previously serving as SVP - National Operations Manager at Gateway Mortgage Group and as Director of Mortgage Underwriting at MetLife Home Loans. Earlier in their career, William worked at Bank of America for nearly a decade in various leadership roles related to underwriting and operations. William earned a BS in Finance/Accounting from Northeastern State University between 1980 and 1983.
