Mike Traylor started their work experience in 2000 as a Sales Associate/Manager at Radio Shack, where they worked until 2004. Mike then worked as a Technical Support at Midcontinent Communications from an unknown start date until February 2013. From March 2013 until November 2019, Mike worked as a Network Engineer at MetaBank, where they gained experience in various systems such as mobile devices and plan management, RSA security Authentication Manager, and Cisco ACS network security system. In 2019, they joined High Point Networks as a Network Engineer. In 2020, they took on the role of Course Instructor for the SNSA Certification at StormWind Studios and developed a course for the Sonicwall Network Security Associate certification. Most recently, in January 2022, Mike became an Adjunct Instructor at Southeast Tech.

Mike Traylor completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree with a focus in Network Administration at Southeast Tech from 2011 to 2013. Mike also obtained several additional certifications, including CYBERFORCE: Hero from Palo Alto Networks in February 2023, Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate V6.5 (ACCA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in March 2022, PCNSE from Palo Alto Networks in February 2021, Initial Postsecondary Adjunct Instructor Credential from Southeast Tech in July 2022, SonicWall Network Security Professional from SonicWall in December 2022, PSE Strata: Professional from Palo Alto Networks in May 2021, EDS – MANAGEMENT CENTER CERTIFICATION from Extreme Networks in November 2019, EDS – CAMPUS FABRIC CERTIFICATION from Extreme Networks in November 2019, EDS – IP CAMPUS CERTIFICATION from Extreme Networks in November 2019, CCNA Routing & Switching from Pearson VUE in September 2013, CCNA Security from Pearson VUE in July 2016, ECS – MANAGEMENT CENTER CERTIFICATION from Extreme Networks in May 2020, SonicWall Network Security Administrator from SonicWall in March 2020, and ECS – CAMPUS EXOS SWITCHING & ROUTING CERTIFICATION from Extreme Networks in March 2020.
