Laura Hallstrom, MD, is a palliative medicine physician and educator. Currently serving as the Senior Staff Physician and Director of Primary Palliative Education at Henry Ford Health, Laura has a keen interest in transitions of care at the end of life, communication training in medical education, and physician wellness. Previously, Laura was a Palliative Medicine Physician at OhioHealth, where they also directed palliative education and completed a fellowship in quality and patient safety. Laura’s medical training includes roles at UK HealthCare and Cleveland Clinic, along with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University.
