Dr. Simone Bagel-Trah has extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations, including serving on the Supervisory Boards of Bayer from 2014 to 2024 and Henkel since 2009, where they also hold the position of Chair of the Shareholders' Committee. They have been a Non-executive Director at CHANEL since 2025 and are currently a member of the Board of Directors for HSBC Germany. In addition, Dr. Bagel-Trah is a member of the Senate at the Max Planck Society and has been instrumental as a Partner and Managing Director at Antiinfectives Intelligence GmbH, a position they have held since 2000. They received their education at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, where they studied between 1988 and 1998.
