Thamari Senanayake is an accomplished Attorney-at-Law specializing in regulatory, governance, risk management, government relations, and sustainability. They began their career at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Sri Lanka, establishing laws for the capital market before transitioning to the private sector in 2006 as a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Ceylon Tobacco Company. Thamari has held significant roles including Director of Investigation at the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka and Director of Corporate Affairs at Fonterra Brands Lanka, where they shaped regulatory compliance and governance. Currently, they serve as Chief Legal Regulatory and Compliance Officer at HEMAS Holdings PLC and have been recognized as a key global talent in their field, receiving awards for their contributions to corporate strategy and sustainability initiatives.
