Hello Tomorrow was created in 2011 by a group of individuals convinced that science and technology need to form part of a toolkit of solutions to change our industries, sustain a growing population and help solve global crises. But the traditional model of technology transfer to bring solutions from lab to market, and from idea to impact, could not rise to this challenge. In turn, Hello Tomorrow has built, and now animates, a global ecosystem that facilitates ‘deep tech’ innovation through multiple activities. 

Over the course of nine editions, their Global Startup Challenge has received 30,000 applications from 132 countries, partnering with universities and research institutions worldwide to identify deep tech solutions that have real global impact. Hello Tomorrow then uses its unique position to identify and analyze deep tech trends and dynamics. Through their international events, they connect all key players to harness their full potential. Through consulting services in strategy and innovation and customised startups programs, they help companies to understand how deep tech will impact their business, how to stay competitive and launch new solutions.

The Curator Team at Hello Tomorrow is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and curating deep tech startups for the Global Startup Challenge. They partner with universities, research institutions, and other key players to discover and analyze innovative solutions that have the potential to create a significant global impact. Through this process, they ensure that the most promising startups are highlighted and supported in their journey from lab to market.

Led by the Head Of Business Development, the team includes the Investment Director who focuses on securing funding, the Partnerships Manager who forms strategic alliances, the Startup Programs Manager who develops and manages programs tailored for startups, and the Investor Relations expert who maintains and builds relationships with investors. Collectively, they work to expand Hello Tomorrow's global ecosystem, drive impact through deep tech innovation, and ensure the company's long-term sustainability and success.

Business Development Team

The Ambassadors and Judges team at Hello Tomorrow plays a crucial role in identifying and promoting groundbreaking deep tech innovations with global impact. Ambassadors engage with universities, research institutions, and key stakeholders across various regions to scout for potential startup applicants and raise awareness about the Global Startup Challenge. Judges, including specific domain experts like the Digital Health and Medical Devices Challenge Jury, meticulously evaluate startup applications, ensuring only the most promising and impactful solutions advance. Together, they help sustain the ecosystem of deep tech innovation and facilitate connections between startups and industries worldwide.
