Paul Barendse is currently the Head of Employee Relations at HEINEKEN Beverages South Africa, a role they began in 2023. They previously held significant positions in human resources, including Head of HR Operations at Distell from 2014 to 2015 and Head of HR: Operations at Volkswagen Group South Africa from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Paul served as an HR Officer at Coca-Cola Sabco from 1997 to 2000 and as Head of HR Marketing at British American Tobacco SA from 2000 to 2009. Paul is also a graduate with a BA Degree in Psychology and further qualifications in Human Resource Management.
