Susanne Rebers is an ELSI advisor, ELSI program manager, and ELSI researcher currently at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Health-RI. Their work focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications of human tissue and data use in research. Susanne leads several initiatives, including the ELSI Servicedesk and projects aimed at developing consent procedures and registries for health data. They previously conducted research at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they earned their Ph.D. in Social Sciences, receiving a Dissertation Award for their work.
