Sayantan Biswas, EIT, RSP1, currently serves as a Traffic EIT and Transportation EIT at HDR since July 2021. Previously, Sayantan worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, focusing on research related to pricing mechanisms for managed lanes under the guidance of Dr. Mark Burris. Other professional experiences include roles as an Assistant Highway Design Engineer at Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd., where detailed designs for highways in India and a haul road in Guinea were prepared, a BIM Engineer at Techture Structures for Expo-2020 in Dubai, and various internships related to transportation studies and road design. Sayantan holds a Master of Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
