Venkatesh (Venki) is currently the Executive Vice President at HDFC Bank, where they are part of the microfinance team, aiming to improve the lives of individuals at the bottom of the economic pyramid. Venki has extensive experience in the finance industry, having held key positions at Bank of America, Wipro Infotech Ltd, GE Countrywide, and HSBC, among others. They served as MD & CEO at IFMR Rural Channels & Services, implementing a unique model to provide solutions in underserved areas. Venki holds a B.Com (Hons) from St. Xavier's College and has completed Executive Training in Leadership & Strategy at the Indian School of Business.
