Brian Cocchiola, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and physician leader with a decade of experience in delivering high-quality perioperative care across various clinical settings, including Level 1 trauma and pediatrics. Currently serving as the Anesthesia Facility Medical Director at Chippenham Hospital within HCA Healthcare, they oversee operations across 22 service sites and manage a team of 12 anesthesiologists and 30 CRNAs. Previously, Brian held the role of Transplant Anesthesiologist at VCU Health. They earned their Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint George's University School of Medicine and completed their Anesthesiology Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. Passionate about mentoring and advancing clinical excellence, Brian actively engages in hospital committees to enhance patient safety and provider performance.
