Evan Kruger has been a Social Studies Teacher at Hastings Public Schools since August 2014, contributing to the academic development of students and also serving as a Special Education Teacher focused on behavioral disorders. In addition to teaching, Evan has taken on coaching responsibilities as the Offensive Line Coach and JV Offensive Coordinator for the varsity football team. Prior experience includes a role as a substitute teacher and student teacher at Hastings Public Schools, where Evan also volunteered as a Quiz Bowl sponsor and a track and field coach. Prior to the educational roles, Evan worked as a Grocery Clerk at Allens Super Store and served as a Resident Advisor at the University of Nebraska Kearney, aiding students in their transition to college life. Evan holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Social Sciences from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, completed in 2014, and is a graduate of Hastings Senior High School, class of 2009.
