Alan Toogood is an established professional in cyber security and technical governance, with a career spanning over three decades. They began their journey as a Helpdesk Engineer at Hexagon Computers from 1990 to 1996, before moving on to RM plc, where they held various roles, including Premier Consultant and Cyber Security Architect, focusing on bespoke customer projects and service development in the education sector until 2023. Currently, Alan serves as the Global Head of Information Security at The Harrier Group since 2024. They are recognized for their expertise in process and policy development, mentoring, and delivering innovative solutions that enhance security standards across the industry. Alan studied at Oxford College of FE from 1994 to 1996.
