Tyler Otero has extensive experience in the golf industry, with their most recent position being the Mid-Atlantic Sales Director at Harrell's LLC since July 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Trustee at GCSANJ Foundation starting in May 2012. From December 2013 to August 2018, Tyler worked as the Golf Course Superintendent at North Jersey Country Club, overseeing the operations of a 325-acre golf course. Tyler also held the role of Secretary at GCSANJ from May 2013 to August 2018. Tyler has previously worked at prestigious golf clubs such as Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, where they were the Director of Grounds from July 2012 to December 2013, and Trump National Colts Neck, where they served as the Golf Course Superintendent from September 2008 to July 2012. Tyler also gained experience as a Superintendent at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster from May 2006 to September 2008. Additionally, Tyler has worked for Penn State University as a member of the Grounds Crew from 2002 to 2006. Tyler also gained international experience as an Intern at Kauri Cliffs Golf Course in 2005 and as an Intern at COUNTRY CLUB OF THE ROCKIES INC in 2004.
Tyler Otero attended Penn State University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Science. In 2012, they received a certificate from the Syngenta Business Institute at Wake Forest University. Currently, Tyler is pursuing a Master's degree in Turf and Turfgrass Management through Penn State World Campus, starting in 2015.
