Philip Buchholz is a seasoned Principal Electrical Engineer and team lead with over 22 years of experience in FPGA design using both Verilog and VHDL. Currently serving as the Director of Electronics Hardware Engineering, Philip has contributed to numerous high-speed printed circuit board designs and microcontroller firmware projects. Notable recent achievements include designing variable tap polyphase video scaling IP for 4k UHD video and multiport audio-video switchers. Previously, Philip held key engineering roles at HARMAN International, Gnubi, Alcatel, and Texas Instruments, leading projects that required extensive EMI/EMC certification and innovative hardware solutions. Philip holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
