Capt. Magdy Tawfik has extensive experience in the shipping and maritime industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Hapag-Lloyd AG in Egypt since October 2017. Prior to this role, Capt. Tawfik was the Operations Manager at UASC-Egypt from June 2007 to November 2017 and held the position of Master Mariner at United Arab Shipping Company Ltd. from January 1997 to June 2007. Capt. Tawfik began a maritime career with NSCSA as a Master Mariner from June 1987 until November 1996. Capt. Tawfik holds a degree in Master Mariner from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
