Radek Smetana is a Lead Technical Animator at Hangar 13, where they focus on scripting rigging modules, automation tools, and other computer graphic challenges. With a rich background in technical animation, Radek previously served as a Senior Character Technical Director and Rigging TD at MPC, where they were involved in significant projects. Their experience also includes being a Director and Generalist at Sphere Motion, creating various multimedia works, and teaching computer graphics at multiple institutions, including the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek. Radek holds a Master's degree in Animation and VFX, finishing with honors, from the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek.
