David DuBose is currently the Director of Fine Arts at Gwinnett County Public Schools, overseeing 550 fine arts teachers and engaging over 150,000 students in arts education. In this role, David manages curriculum design, assessment, and professional development initiatives, while also serving on various community advisory boards. Previously, David was the Fine Arts Director and Performing Arts Center Manager at Marietta City Schools, where they successfully led the growth of the arts programs and managed a multimillion-dollar facility project. Acknowledged for excellence in education, David received the 2014 Georgia Teacher of the Year award and was the runner-up for Marietta City Schools' 2013 Teacher of the Year. David holds an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Georgia and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
