Ruth Orbach is a seasoned research and strategy specialist currently serving as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at GSMA. With extensive experience in East, West, and Southern Africa, as well as Eastern Europe, Ruth has developed strong skills in mixed-method research and learning systems, focusing on areas such as financial inclusion and women's economic empowerment. Previously, Ruth held various roles, including Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at CARE Canada and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Lead at Save the Children International. Ruth earned a B.A. in International and Global Studies from Brandeis University and an Executive Global Masters in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
