Sarah Horseman is an experienced audit and risk management professional with a strong background in the public sector. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Audit and Assurance for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Head of Audit, Risk and Assurance for Transport for Greater Manchester since April 2019, Sarah has established internal audit provisions and developed risk management frameworks for both organizations. Prior to these roles, Sarah held various senior manager positions at PwC from July 1996 to April 2019, focusing on public sector risk assurance, curriculum development for the global Risk Assurance practice, and business process assurance across diverse industries. Sarah holds a BSc Hons in Accounting and Computer Studies from the University of Leeds.
