Nicholas Sanford-Vu, CPA, is a senior manager in mergers and acquisitions tax services at Grant Thornton, where they lead a team of tax professionals to help clients navigate complex tax implications of business transactions. They previously held roles as a senior associate, manager, and tax associate at the same firm, and also served as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With extensive knowledge of tax law and a commitment to mentoring future tax professionals, Nicholas strives to develop innovative tax-efficient strategies in the M&A landscape. They hold a Master of Accounting in Taxation from the Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
