David Slenn is currently the Managing Director of Tax Practice Policy & Quality at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC. Previously, David held various positions including Partner at Akerman LLP and Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, and served as a Senior Associate Attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP and Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. David was an ABA Advisor for the drafting committee of the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, David is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Cybersecurity for Executives Program at the University of Southern Florida’s MUMA College of Business, where they focus on cybersecurity strategies and legal compliance. David earned a JD from Capital University Law School, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, and an LLM in Taxation from the University of Washington.
