William E. Stoops, Jr. P.E. is an accomplished structural engineer with extensive experience in connection design and engineering management. Currently serving as a Structural Engineer and Steel Connection Designer at GRAEF since June 2023, William previously held the position of Connection Design Engineer at Meyer Borgman Johnson Structural Design + Engineering from January 2016 to April 2023, where project teams were directed and steel connection details were meticulously reviewed using advanced software tools. William's career also includes roles such as VP Engineering at Mcgill Engineering, Inc., Co-Owner of Central Florida Detailing, and earlier as Vice President Chief Design Engineer and Engineer at Mcgill Engineering and Qualico Steel Company, respectively. William holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.
