Jyoti Kalash is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, urban planning, and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Senior Punjab Good Governance Fellow at the Government of Punjab since August 2025, Jyoti focuses on climate-resilient urban planning for Jalandhar Municipal Corporation through collaboration with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Program Manager for Sustainable Cities and Transport at WRI India, where Jyoti initiated decarbonization efforts in India's road freight sector, and as Chief Minister's Urban Leader Fellow with the Delhi Government. With a solid educational background in English Literature and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism, Jyoti has also held consulting and managerial positions in organizations such as Crossroads Global, Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), and the Ministry of Women & Child Development.
