Vivien Tran-Thien has extensive experience in various roles within both government and private sectors, demonstrating strong expertise in AI consulting, data science, and energy demand management. Tran-Thien began a career at the Directorate-General for State Modernisation as a Project Manager, followed by leadership positions at the French Environment Ministry and the French Nuclear Safety Authority, culminating in the role of Head of the Transport and Sources Department. From 2016 to 2020, Tran-Thien served as a Senior Manager in Data Science at EY before taking on the role of Director of AI Consulting for EMEA at Dataiku. Currently serving as Solutions Architect Manager for GenAI at Google since June 2025, Tran-Thien holds advanced degrees in Machine Learning and Statistics from Telecom ParisTech and Computer Science and Economics from Ecole Polytechnique.
