Valerie Hyde, PhD, is currently the Head of AI/ML Customer Engineering for North America at Google, where they leverage expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to assist clients with business transformations using AI. They previously served as AI/ML Sales Director for Microsoft and held various technical sales roles at IBM, where they received multiple awards for their contributions. Valerie earned a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Maryland College Park, where they distinguished themselves as a top graduate teaching assistant. Additionally, they have experience as a Marketing Analytics Consultant at Accenture and held summer internship roles at AT&T Labs-Research and the US Census Bureau. Valerie is also pursuing a BS in Economics and Mathematics at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
