Iva Barisic Hafner is a researcher at ETH Zürich since September 2019, with a focus on cognitive science, spatial cognition, eye tracking, virtual reality, human-computer interaction, and user experience. Previous experience includes roles as a technical assistant at the University of Cologne, a researcher at the Future Cities Laboratory, and a PhD student at ETH Zürich. Iva also interned as a User Experience Researcher at Google and worked as a senior quantitative UX researcher at Uniklinik Köln. Additional positions include teaching assistant at the University of Basel, journalist at Adriatic Media, consultant at Deloitte, and involvement in e-services and PKI with FINA. Iva holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Zagreb and a PhD in Cognitive Science from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
