Catherine Blackadar Nelson has over 20 years of experience in high tech, with a specialized focus on security and technology in disaster response. As a Security and Privacy Expert, they have spent 17 years specializing in Internet, application, and network security while managing various security teams and leading initiatives in disaster technology. Catherine has taught courses at prestigious institutions and contributed to international standards development, holding a patent pending for Security Risk Management. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Mills College while continuing to advise organizations such as the United Nations and FEMA on Cyber Security and disaster response efforts.
