Dale H. Lastman, C.M., O.Ont., currently serves as the Chair at Goodmans LLP, where they practice corporate, commercial, and securities law, advising on public offerings, mergers, and acquisitions. Dale is a Director of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd, an Alternate Governor of the NHL and NBA, and has held leadership roles within the CFL. Actively involved in philanthropic efforts, Dale has been recognized with several honors, including being named a Member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario. They have also been a long-serving lecturer in securities law at Osgoode Hall Law School, where they earned accolades for teaching excellence. In 2024, Dale was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from York University for outstanding legal achievements and community commitment.
