Barbara Mellers is the Chief Scientist at Good Judgment, Inc. since 2014, focusing on managing strategic uncertainty through the expertise of the Good Judgment Project research team. Mellers has held the position of Professor at The Wharton School and the Department of Psychology since July 2010. Prior to this, Mellers served as the Milton W. Terrill Chair of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing and Organizational Behavior at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from July 2001 to July 2010. Additional academic experience includes roles as a Visiting Scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation and as a Professor of Psychology at The Ohio State University. Mellers began an academic career as an Assistant to Full Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1981 to 1995. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
