Yu Anami is the EMEA COO for Financial Crime Compliance at Goldman Sachs, where they have served as an Executive Director and Senior Compliance Officer since 2017. They have held leadership roles in Birmingham and EMEA FCC COO & Governance since 2021. Yu previously worked as a Senior Analyst in Forensic at KPMG UK from 2014 to 2017 and interned as a Press Assistant at Amnesty International UK in 2012. They hold an MA in Understanding & Securing Human Rights from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Course from the University of Law.
