Alex Currier is currently the Vice President - Legal Entity Controller at Goldman Sachs, where they also completed a year-long work placement in the Internal Audit department. Prior to their current role, they gained valuable experience in Banking Audit at EY, where they advanced from Associate to Senior Associate. Alex holds a First Class (Honours) Degree in BSc Accounting & Finance with Industrial Experience from the University of Exeter, graduating in 2018, and completed their Chartered Accounting qualification with ICAS in 2021. Additionally, they developed strong time management and organizational skills during their time as a Sales Associate at Build-A-Bear Workshop.
