Francesca Forestieri is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the automotive and transport sectors. Currently serving as the Automotive Lead at GlobalPlatform® since October 2022, Francesca focuses on defining the Automotive Strategy and engaging with industry stakeholders, along with spearheading initiatives such as the Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum. As an Independent Consultant since 2010, Francesca specializes in launching new initiatives and applying technologies in transportation. Additional expertise includes serving as an External Expert for the European Commission, leading Montessori Model UN as Executive Director, and holding various roles in business development and consultancy at GSMA and Accenture. Francesca holds two degrees from Cornell University in Urban Planning, supplemented by a high school diploma in Biology.
