Carolyn Buser

VP of R&I Biology Unit

Carolyn Buser is currently the VP of the Respiratory and Immunology Biology Unit at GSK, where they lead an international team focused on identifying and progressing innovative therapeutic targets. Previously, Buser held various leadership roles at GSK and Merck, including overseeing the Oncology Licensing strategy and directing cross-functional teams in molecular oncology research. They earned a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Yale University and have contributed significantly to scientific research through numerous collaborations and programs, including co-chairing the GSK Fellows Program. Buser also served as a research assistant professor at Stony Brook University and holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
