Loren Harrell is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur, currently serving as a co-founder and software engineer at Givebacks since 2007, focusing on tools for PTA member management and parent/teacher communication. Previously, Loren founded and led SoftPro Corporation, which specialized in software for the title insurance and real estate closing industry, until its acquisition by Fidelity National Financial in 2001. Loren's earlier experience includes roles as a senior technical representative and sales representative at GE Information Services, as well as positions at SAS Institute and Business Information Technology, Inc. Additionally, Loren contributed to the Department of Computer Science Strategic Advisory Board at North Carolina State University from 2011 to 2016, chairing the board in 2014.
