Stephen Gillies has extensive experience in global trade operations and commercial management within the pharmaceutical sector. At Gilead Sciences, Stephen held the position of Executive Director of Global Trade Operations, where responsibilities included establishing the Commercial Operations function for EMEA Kite Cell Therapy and managing co-commercialization partnerships. Prior to Gilead, Stephen was the Director of Trade and Established Products at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd, creating a European distribution network and a supply integrity program. Stephen's career began at Pfizer Ltd, where significant roles included director-level positions in business development, alliance management, and global commercial operations. Earlier experiences include managerial and clinical research roles at GSK and IBAH (UK) Ltd, respectively.
