Irene Kuek is currently the Assistant Vice President of Investment Tax (APAC) at GIC, a position held since 2025. Before this role, Irene served as State Counsel on secondment at the Attorney-General's Chambers in Singapore (2022 - 2023) and worked as a Senior Legal Specialist at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) from 2021 to 2022, where they provided legal advice and represented the agency in tax disputes. Irene began their legal career as a Legal Trainee in Tax at Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow in 2020. They hold a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from UCL.
