Sergio Fernandez is a seasoned transportation engineer with extensive experience in the design of urban and rural roads, as well as industrial site access and rail projects. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at GHD since February 2023, Sergio previously held senior positions at HDR and Parsons Corporation, where responsibilities included preliminary and detail design work. With a solid foundation in transportation engineering from CH2M Hill Canada Ltd and Dillon Consulting Limited, Sergio has also contributed to traffic analysis and institutional strengthening of government road agencies. Sergio holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de El Salvador, earned between 1988 and 1991.
