Omid Shahabi P.Eng.MBA has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Omid started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Simon Carves in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Following that, they joined SNC-Lavalin as a Lead Mechanical/HVAC Engineer from 2012 to 2017. Omid then worked at Lithos Group Inc. as a Senior Mechanical/HVAC Engineer from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Liberty Development Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, Omid worked at IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer at GHD since 2022.

Omid Shahabi P.Eng.MBA completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Engineering Management at Alliance Manchester Business School, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
