James Petersen is a Principal Engineering Geologist at GHD, where they have worked since 2017. They served as a Senior Engineering Geologist at GHD from 2016 to 2017 and were a Lead Engineering Geologist at Advisian from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, Petersen gained experience as a Senior Engineering Geologist at WorleyParsons from 2011 to 2015 and as an Engineering Geologist at Coffey Geotechnics from 2002 to 2006. Petersen holds a Master of Engineering Science in Engineering Geology from UNSW and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Otago.
