Brent Burton, P.Eng., is an experienced professional in integrated water management, with almost three decades dedicated to serving local governments and First Nations, primarily in the Metro Vancouver region. Brent's career spans various roles, culminating in the position of Division Manager at Metro Vancouver, where responsibilities included leading teams in regional water delivery and sewage management while championing climate resilience initiatives. Currently serving as the Integrated Water Management Technical Director for Canada West at GHD, Brent continues to provide innovative solutions for water management challenges. With an educational background that includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, Brent holds significant credentials, including the Infrastructure Resilience Professional certification and the Fellow of Engineers Canada designation.
