Dr. Walter G. Kutschke, PE, earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. As the Vice President and Midwest/Ohio Valley Area Leader for Geotechnical at Gannett Fleming and GFT, they lead complex geotechnical programs with a focus on karst and subsurface investigations. With over 20 years of experience at AECOM and DiGioia Gray and Associates, Dr. Kutschke has been recognized as a national expert, contributing to award-winning projects and publishing over 20 peer-reviewed papers. They actively participate in professional organizations, serving on the ASTM D18 committee and leading the Karst Sub-Committee.
