Tyler McGee is an Engineer III in Substation Design Services at Georgia Transmission, having previously held the position of Senior Research Engineer at BINERGY SCIENTIFIC, INC. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they also completed a Master's degree and authored a thesis on ultrasonic inspection of battery damage. During their graduate studies, Tyler designed, built, and tested a significant experiment and presented their findings at a major conference. Prior to their current role, Tyler gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and a Repair Process Engineering Co-op at Delta Air Lines, showcasing their diverse expertise in various engineering disciplines.
