Simon Pang is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, having held significant roles across various prominent companies. They began their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Sun Life Financial from 2005 to 2008 and later served as a Products Actuary at Swiss Re until 2014. Following that, Simon was the Regional Manager for Actuarial & Underwriting at AXA from 2014 to 2015, before becoming the Head of Business Development for the Hong Kong market at Reinsurance Group of America from 2015 to 2018. They subsequently took on various leadership positions at Gen Re, including General Manager of the Hong Kong branch from 2025 to 2023 and Head of Life & Health for Hong Kong from 2023 to 2025. Simon holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo.
