Jano Cabrera is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience in corporate relations and strategic communications. Currently serving as Chief Communications Officer at General Mills since August 2019, Cabrera previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations at McDonald's from October 2015 to April 2019. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Burson-Marsteller included various leadership roles such as Worldwide Vice President and Chair for the Issues and Crisis Group. Cabrera's career also features key positions with the National Democratic Institute, Democratic National Committee, and the Office of Al Gore. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Pomona College, Cabrera has demonstrated a strong commitment to effective communication strategies across multiple sectors.
