Ajay Deshmukh is a Senior Principal Engineer in Device Development at Genentech, a position held since 2010. Previously, they worked as a Research Scientist at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003, and held consultancy roles at Tactus Technology and Wave 80 Biosciences in 2010. Ajay also served as a Senior Microfluidics Engineer at Pelikan Technologies from 2004 to 2009. They hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
