James M. Wilson, MD, PhD, is a gene therapy innovator and rare disease advocate with a research career spanning over 40 years. Currently, they serve as the President and CEO of GEMMA Biotherapeutics and the Executive Chair of Franklin Biolabs, while also holding a Professor position at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, they directed the Gene Therapy Program and the Orphan Disease Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
